Peel the core apples, then cut into thin slices. Roll the pie crust into a pie and prick the crust with a fork. Pour the apple-sauce in the pan and place the apple slices in a spiral or large circles until the whole crust is covered.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at the most. Watch the pie baking. You can sprinkle a little sugar on the tart during baking time to slightly caramelize it.
Kiwi-apple Tart Variation
Prepare the same tart recipe, but instead use half peeled kiwi and half peeled apples.
My mom never made pie, she made tart. She liked it better and to be honest I think it's a little easier to make this than a pie! It's delicious and you can pretty much use any fruit that you want (sometimes she make a pear tart).
